Dear Sandra Kelly,
I'm impressed by your poem on "Fountain of Grace".
so sensual in feeling, yet descritive in imagery.
You are welcome to use images from my site for
non-commercial purpose as per your request.
Here is the description of the source of my inspiration .
I do not start a painting with sketches,
I do not paint on location and I do not work from photos .
Instead, many mornings, before the dawn,
I climb a mountain to its peak.
There , sitting in solitude, I observe rising of the sun.
I watch plants open their leaves, buds tear up their dresses
and the birds sing to the arrival of their creator.
There is an interconnected serenity that allows all creatures
to experience the divine unity.
Having felt that creative energy,
I rush to my studio,
dip my brush into paint,
and let it move freely on canvas.
I don't know how far Wildomar is from LA. If it is not too far
from Culver City, you might want to attend one of my Saturday
lectures at Agape Institute. There might be an opportunity for a fusion.

Hello, Sandra,
and thanks for your email requesting permission to use my artwork "Marilyn Monroe" on your poetry site.
You may use that or any other work from my site, as long as you include a small copyright notice and a link to my site, pointing to http://www.hakonsoreide.com or to http://www.hakonsoreide.com/Gallery
When you have done so, email me a link to the page in question so I might view how it looks in context =)
Nice poem, by the way. I have written some myself on that very theme. "that's it's" must surely be a typo, though?
Best regards

Dear Sandra,
Thank you for your interest in using images from the artist Danny Hahlbohm on your site. Although Danny does permit the usage of his images, the following guidelines must be met since these are copyrighted works of art by Mr. Hahlbohm and international publishers.
1) If you desire to use the image in creating other forms (ie. buttons, backgrounds, banners, etc.,) they must be cleared first by Mr. Hahlbohm himself to insure the integrity of his work. Usually this is not a problem, most people share the same respect for the work as we do and have actually created some fine works themselves.
2) The image is to be displayed at your site only. Permission for use is not granted for others to download off your site. They also will need to have permission as yourself for such usage. Those distribution rights remain solely with the artist.
3) A notice of "Copyright by Danny Hahlbohm. All rights reserved by the artist." is to be posted along the image.
4) A link back to Inspired-Art at http://www.inspired-art.com is posted on the same page as the image.
If you wish to use images of Mr. Hahlbohm's, please follow these guidelines and advise us upon compliance. A banner to Mr. Hahlbohm's site has been attached to use if you so desire.
Blessings!

Hello Sandra,
Thank you for your very nice email. We do permit the use of some of Denton's art images on sites that are personal and non-commercial. I've looked at your site and it is very nicely done. I'll revisit and read more of your beautiful poetry. I'm including the information that we forward when we receive requests:
1. We do permit the use of some of the art images for non-commercial and personal websites. Commercial use of
the art must be addressed to his licensing agent, Applejack Art Partners.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Please add the artist's name and copyright symbol on the image(s) you wish to use or the copyright text somewhere on the page: Copyright by Denton Lund - All Rights Reserved. A link back to his website would be most appreciated.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. We know that in the designing for graphics, the original art is changed somewhat, but do not ADD items that change the art work. We had an occasion where someone actually created an object in the web image that was not created by the artist, although it appeared as if the object was part of the artist's creation. I hope that's understandable. An example would be adding a necklace on the computer image that is not present in the original painting.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Please do not use images that are right click coded. Many of these are works in progress and I will remove the coding when the painting is complete and I've updated the image.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Please do not post images on image exchange sites such as "web shots." Only one individual has requested and received permission to do this from us. Many people write to us and tell us that they've seen an image on "web shots" and we've discovered that most have been placed there without permission.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6. We are no longer giving permission for e-cards using Denton Lund art images.
Again thank you for your email and please write again if you have any questions or concerns about the information above. We'll look forward to seeing your new page(s).
Warm regards,
Sandra Lund

Sandra,
Thank you for choosing to share my work with others through your site. If you decide to build your own pages at some point, I’ve included a set of guidelines for you to adhere to re: the use of my paintings on the internet.
Best wishes,

*******************************
USE OF WORK
My images can be used ONLY for NON-commercial ONLINE/INTERNET
purposes. One example of commercial (and unlawful) use includes building
websites, that include my images, for others for a fee without a
written agreement of some kind. It is also ILLEGAL to create prints from
from my paintings of ANY kind, even for personal use. There will also be no
sexual content of any kind, written or visual on your pages involving my work.
I also don't approve of my work being used to advance any social or political agendas.
MODIFICATION
Please keep in mind that my paintings/compositions/stories are
meticulously planned and thought out. I realize the temptation to use
part of the paintings. If you feel it absolutely necessary to use a
portion of a painting, then I can agree to that as long as the complete/whole
image is somewhere (noticeable) within the same page. A thumbnail is fine.
I also request that you create a link back to my site as well, no matter how you use
my work. This also applies to the creation of email stationery.
COPYRIGHT
Whenever you post my (or anyone's) copyrighted images on your site you
should include a copyright notice. Please place a copyright notice
(© 2003 Tom Sierak) near each image that you use. If you have multiple
images grouped together, then "All Images © 2003 Tom Sierak" will
suffice. (If you're using a PC, you can make a © symbol by doing the
following: Make sure your num lock key is on. While holding down you ALT
key, type 0169 on you numbers pad, NOT your keyboard pad.)
PRINTING / REPRODUCING
It is illegal to print, copy, or reproduce my paintings in any way, including
desktop printouts for personal or private use.
PREVIEW
Please let me know when you have a sample ready for me to view.
I look forward to seeing how you present my work. Also, if you're using
the Moon & Back graphics, the pages have been modified a bit at my
request to reflect copyright & disclaimer information. Please make sure
that you use the updated pages.
TITLES
Lastly, I ask that you please make sure to use the proper titles of my
paintings. I’ve discovered in some instances that people are confused by a
set page title, that differs from the correct title, placed near my painting by the
creator of the set(s). You can find all of my paintings with corresponding titles on
my own site: www.tomsierak.com.
PS: If you know of any sites that are offering web hosting services for
$ using my images, please let me know.
Alan Ayers
Thank you for your kind words. You may feel free to use images
copyrighted to me for noncommercial web use, with copyright noted
and a link back to my site.
