Hog Heaven
The kids are so excited.
They have found a place for me.
Nestled in the forest.
What a lovely spot to be.
Today I get to see it.
And I clap my hands in glee.
I get a look at what
My new home will be.
Imagine my excitement
As step through my front door.
To find I have a dog pen unfolded,
To reinforce my kitchen floor!
Well, I could not resist it
I had to take a peek.
At the place I will send my company
(Excuse the grammar)
Should they have to take a leak.
Amazed, I sat upon the throne
And much to my surprise,
I found that if I get sick.
The sink is level with my eyes.
Next, I explored the bedroom
And what wonders did I see.
The water heater ftts under the bed
How lucky could I be!
Then gazing round the room in wonder
I glanced up to see ~
My ceiling has a skylight.
Oops, I opened it~!
And years of dirt,
Rained down on top of me.
Oh, it will take alittle elbow grease
And imagination, too.
But, it will be "Hog Heaven",
Once once the kids and I get through.
