Each morning as the dawn breaks we sit quietly on the shore. In silent contemplation of life's beauty as you paint the sky with love once more. Memory travels down the pathway we laid so many years ago. Standing beside these waters hearts full to overflow. We were bound by a simple vow "'til death do we part." How could we know that single phrase would be embeded so deeply in our hearts. The journey was not always easy we were rocked by angry seas. Fate dealt her hand and left us to salvage what we could of you and me. Like two ships shrouded by a veil of mist often we passed in the night. Yet the aching need inside us burned was never far out of sight. Now we sit beside peaceful waters and reflected in them we see. Nothing in life is worth the price paid for losing sight of the love you need. So, give me one more sunrise Lord with the loved one by my side.
