Po'
The 'ol tin tub came out each night,
Positioned on the kitchen floor.
Pots of water heated on the 'ol wood stove,
Were prepared to pour.
Though I was just a tiny tot
I remember bath time well.
For me it was like playing,
Inside a wishing well.
It never even crossed my mind
Folks might think us po'.
Some of my richest memories
Come from that 'ol tin tub,
On our kitchen floor.
