Seasons
The nights always so long.
Now lengthen with the shadows
And we gladly welcome dawn.
The seasons almost over
Good times will now soon end.
We made alot of memories
And even some new friends.
As we curl beside the fireplace
To chase away the chill.
Fond memories will linger
Of our summer on the hill.
The town once filled with laughter
Now stands deserted and alone.
It slumbers, now awaiting
The day old friends come home.
